I have long been interested in children prenatally exposed to alcohol
and other substances because they represent symbolically all the
different aspects of intervention needed for children. Children with
prenatal exposure need assistance biochemically, environmentally, in
their family and at school, and with many aspects of managing their
behavior and their emotions.
This page represents my hope that parents, foster-parents, adoptive
parents, and mental health professionals can have as much information
about FAS/FAE as possible. Only through sharing information can support
and ideas for coping with this life long issue be found.
In order to facilitate this exchange of information regarding FAS/FAE
the following sites will be helpful.
